Oz Currently does Freelance design full time and has over 24 years experience in graphic design (2003 - Present).

Some of his clients include: Kawasaki, Monster Energy, Yamaha, Volume Distribution, Dragon Institute, Drew Brophy, PEACE Academy, Force Skate Trucks, Skateboard for a Cure Day, and others.

Oz’s previous job was at New Era Cap as a designer and production artist in the West Coast Action Sports office (2009 - Present). 

He worked with over 45 accounts in the action sports / apparel industry. His personal accounts have included brands like, Sony, Bravado, LRG, Stance Socks, Acapulco Gold, HUF, Hall of Fame, Mishka, Independent Truck co, Santa Cruz, Billionaire Boy’s Club, Flight Club, FSAS, Leaders, Red Bull, Kawasaki, Pro Circuit, KTM, Husqvarna, Yamaha, One Industries, Fox Racing, Spy Optics, WeSC, Rock Star Games, Staple Design, Supreme, Rocnation, Pro Era, Amongst Friends, Ethika, Yums, Chrome, Marc Jacobs, RVCA, Sneaker Politics, Sullen, 10 Deep, Street League, Rogue Status, Olukai, Palladium, Gumball 3000, and others.

Oz has also done collaboration work with musicians & athletes such as, Nas, Jay-Z, Raekwon, Daft Punk, Jay Electronica, Too Short, Black Thought, Russell Simmons, MF Doom, The Weekend, Eminem, The Game, Dizzy Wright, Joey Badass, DJ Shadow, Phantogram, Jack Johnson, Life is Beautiful, Woodkid, Mike Will Made It, Tony Royster Jr., The Grouch & Eli, Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, Tyler the Creator (Odd Future), & James Harden (Houston Rockets).

His previous couple of jobs, he was a metal fabricator for Race / Engineering shops in San Clemente CA (1999 - 2003) & Las Vegas NV (2003 - 2004). They built high end on road and off road race vehicles. As a fabricator, he would build everything from roll cages, turbo kits, full suspension, weight reduction, etc., basically anything that needed to be built by hand from the ground up. He would do race prep, which included tearing cars down to the frame and rebuilding to 100% to withstand heavy endurance races. He also learned how to do race engine tear down and re-builds.

When Oz moved back to CA, he did car audio and electronics installation, and then was a screen printer (2004 - 2006)

Oz then started working as a creative director for P.E.A.C.E. Academy (2007 - 2010), which was a traveling school that sharpens your Skills, Structure, Time Management, Business, Mental Health, Physical Health, Wealth, & Creativity, to say the least. They taught at high schools and Real Estate offices In Southern California, as well as personal life coaching for groups and individuals. Oz did all the branding & marketing materials, and eventually owned 10% of the company.

While working for P.E.A.C.E. Academy, he started doing a lot more freelance work, mainly focusing on logo’s and branding for start up companies.

Education background (2005 - 2007):

Oz has an Associate of Arts Degree in Apparel Manufacturing from FIDM (Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising) in Los Angeles. He learned all the steps it takes to build profitable and long lasting brands. Although he always had an interest in building his own companies, his true passion is really in design and creation. He also took a lot of design, Photoshop, and technology trends classes during those years to help expand his skills.
